OST 8 is the soundtrack to the Utena movie. This is an absolutely stunning album, arranged just as well as OST 1, with music equally as good. The music to this movie is as mind blowing as the movie itself. This album is much shorter than the other Utena albums, but it still packs quite a punch. The music tells the story of the movie as you listen to it. I can't say enough for it - this is one of the best Utena OSTs.

Enjoy!
1. Rose is Rain
This is the music to the opening credits of the movie. Very hard, driving, electronic music. This really sets the mood for the movie, as it is the opening piece.
2. Scarlet-tachi no Butou
This is a remix of Gakuen no Scarlet, track five on OST1. This music is played as the camera pans over the redesigned Ohtori Academy, while Wakaba shows Utena-kun around the school. This version is far more grand, as is the design of the school, making you remember that the movie is from the series, but it is the series on a far greater scale. It also includes at the end of it a new version of Hikari Sasu Niwa, which is played at the part where Utena spots Touga through the crowd.
3. Bara no Kokuin
This music is played, as it is named, when Utena receives the Bara no Kokuin from the white rose in the rose garden. It then leads into the gorgeous piano music that is played as she ascends to the Duelling Arena/Anshii's Rose Garden. After then in transists into the beautiful harpsichord music that is played when Utena meets Anshii for the first time, leading into the first duel of the movie.
4. Yomigaere! Mukyuu no Reikishi "Chuusei" yo(Recommended)
This has to be my all time favorite duel song. This is a simply stunning duel song, played when Utena duels Saionji. A lot of people talk bad about this duel, as it's really an intro into the duelling game, just like the first duel in the series, and is therefore repetative. I have to completely disagree. I think this duel introduces all the new elements(Anshii giving the Dios no Ken to Utena only, not to the Victor of the Duel, etc). Plus, the script here is wonderful("How could any woman be happy living like that?!"), and the animation is crafted to the music perfectly. In any case, this is definately a recommended download.
5. Illusion - Akio no Sanagi
Soft piano music, new for the Utena movie. This is not a remix of other piano pieces from the series, though it is reminiscent of them. This music is played while Shiori cleans out Touga's ear in the white death shroud room, while Touga tells Shiori about the Prince and the Lord of Flies. It then blends into the music played while Shiori turns into one of the moths in Touga's memories(mind blowing sequence).
6. Belladonna no Wana
A remix of Poison from the original series. This is a great remix...I love listening to this piece. This is played when Utena goes up to the Duelling Arena at night, and Anshii is contemplating jumping, and continuing into Utena's yelling at Anshii.
7. Toki ni Ai wa (Recommended)
Probably the most well known piece, from the most well known scene of the Utena movie. In this scene, Utena and Anshii dance through the water of the Rose Garden, one side their school uniforms, and in their reflection, their duel uniforms. This song is performed by Okui Masami(same j-pop singer who performed Rinbu Revolution), and probably the single best song on this album. If you would like to listen to other versions of this song, go here.
8. Akio Enbukyou - Video na Kioku
Crack Akio music. This is the music played when we see the "scandelous video", which includes Akio flipping over the hood of his car, dancing with Kanoe, and date raping his little sister! Woot :D What a busy day.
9. Bara no Rashin "Shura" Nikutai Seiza Alpha Psi Zeta Seiun
This is the second duel in the movie, with Juri. I wasn't a big fan of this song at first, but it's slowly grown on me. I still don't like it a whole whole lot, but it's okay. This duel is gorgeous eye candy.
10. Abraxas - Hikari Sasu Niwa
This is the music played in the scene in the elevator, in which Utena finally remembers what really happened to Touga in her past. Water, floating things, movie trying to make Touga an excusable character...Ends with pretty, pretty Hikaru Sasu Niwa.
11. ZUM - Adolesence of Utena
The movie version of ZUM. Very industrial, to go along with the visuals. If you would like to listen to other versions of this song, go here.
12. Kessen - Beruzeburu no Oujou
This is the music that is played as Anshii races away from Ohtori Gakuen in the Utena car. This includes the scene where the Shiori car challenges her, where she's trapped in the tunnel, where she's saved by the other Duellists, and all the way up to where she first sees the Castle Car.
13. Rinbu Revolution (Adolesence Rush) (Recommended)
The final remix of Rinbu Revolution, the series opener. This is...wow. This is an amazing version of the song, and while it's the TV Size version lyrics, this track is actually seven minutes long - the final seven minutes of the movie. Everything in those seven minutes is choreographed to this music, and it's a beautiful, full symphonic piece. If you would like to listen to other versions of this song, go here.
14. Fiancee ni Naritai (Symphonic Instrumental)
The karaoke version of the song sung by Akio's movie seiyuu. This album doesn't contain the lyric version used in the movie(played during the movie ending credits), for some reason, but I'll try find other versions of this song and upload them to the op/ed page.
